Independent scene veteran and NXT alumnus Chris Hero brought his wealth of talent and experience to PCW in 2014 for the Road 2 Glory tournament. The former ROH World Tag Team Champion and CZW World Heavyweight Champion was more than ready to add the PCW Road to Glory trophy to his list of achievements.

The “Knockout Artist” would engage in a heated and physical battle with the winner of the previous year's tournament Noam Dar. After a competitive match up, an aggressive Hero would emerge victorious and advance to the quarter-finals where he would meet Bubblegum.

Hero was on a roll as he went on to defeat Bubblegum and advance to the semi-finals against former WWE Superstar and PCW regular, Chris Masters. Masters would put a stop to “KO”'s success by beating him and advancing to the finals, eventually winning the tournament. Needless to say, Chris Hero would be welcomed back to PCW anytime by fans.
