“Lightning Kid” Mark Andrews made his PCW debut over the Supershow 4 weekend. He competed in 3 matches over the weekend. In his first, he was defeated by Kris Travis. The following day, he was involved in a Fatal 4 Way match with Noam Dar, El Ligero and eventual winner, Martin Kirby.
In the third encounter, Andrews had impressed PCW management enough to receive a shot at the PCW Cruiserweight Championship held by Bubblegum in a Triple Threat Match also involving Kris Travis. Bubblegum would retain the belt.
Though he was unable to pick up any victories, he dazzled audiences with his aerial displays and will be back for PCW's 3rd anniversary show, I Want to Break Three. He will again compete in a Triple Threat Match for the PCW Cruiserweight Championship, this time against the champion, Bubblegum and a mystery 3rd man.
The high flying Cardiff native was crowned the winner of TNA's British Boot Camp 2 in December 2014. He will participate in the TNA Maximum Impact 7 tour of the UK in January before he departs to the States and becomes a full time member of the TNA roster.
