Current ROH World Heavyweight Champion (as of 31/7/14) Michael Elgin has appeared twice for Preston City Wrestling. His first appearance was in September 2012 at Last Night of Freedom. Entering a dominant performance against Bubblegum, the Canadian powerhouse bounced the Cruiserweight around the ring before Bubblegum stole the win with a roll up, aided by holding the ropes.

The next time PCW fans would see Elgin was in October 2013 at Final Fight. Elgin and fellow ROH talent Davey Richards (subbing for Brian Cage) challenged Rampage Brown and T-Bone for the PCW Tag Team Championship. Despite an impressive showing, the make-shift duo were unable to take the straps away from Team Single.

“Unbreakable” Michael Elgin (or “Big Balls” Elgin to some PCW fans) returned to PCW as part of the PCW & ROH Supershow of Honor weekend, first defeating Tyrus (fka Brodus Clay) on show 1. He would continue his roll of success into show 2 and 3 with victories over Chris Masters and BJ Whitmer respectively.

Elgin would like to carry singles gold again when faced new PCW Heavyweight Champion, Uhaa Nation on show 4. Unfortunately for Elgin, he would leave without the gold.
