Terry Funk has truly done it all. With a career that spans six decades, Funk's longevity in the pro wrestling industry is perhaps unrivalled. He's waged wars with some of the industry's best including Ric Flair, Bret Hart, Harley Race, Steve Austin and of course, Mick Foley, to name only a few. Earlier in his career, Funk was a proficient technical wrestler, tying opponents in knots with his traditional offence before switching gears in the mid 90's and adapting into a more “hardcore” style of wrestling.
Terry Funk is a former 2x ECW World Heavyweight Champion, a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion, a former WCW United States Champion and a former WWF World Tag Team Champion, again to name only a few of his accolades.
The 2009 WWE Hall of Famer appeared as a Lumberjack at Spring Slam 2014. Funk was dubbed “Middle Aged and Crazy” by legendary WWE play by play announcer Jim Ross and would prove to be just that as he displayed no favouritism during the match, in spite of being placed out there to watch Danny Hope's back against Team Single who were backing Joey Hayes. Funk was happy to hit anything that moved and the fans in attendance were happy to see it!
Terry Funk's PCW appearance was truly an honour for every fan in attendance.
